The 45th Annual Summer Solstice Celebration kicks off the summer season with a vibrant explosion of creative energy, June 21-23 at Alameda Park. The unforgettable parade, on June 22, treats attendees to exuberantly decorated non-motorized floats, 1,000 imaginatively costumed participants, bands, dancers, and drum ensembles as it makes its way up State Street from the waterfront. The party continues at Alameda Park with more music, food, and arts-and-crafts booths. Not only is Summer Solstice an over-the-top fun-fest, it’s the largest arts event in Santa Barbara County, drawing 100,000 spectators.
