A handful of fishermen can be found on the City Pier (opposite Brophy's) every Saturday selling crab, rockfish, ling cod, black cod, halibut, urchin, abalone (sustainably farmed), and other catch of the day items - with unbeatable prices

SANTA BARBARA CERTIFIED FARMER’S MARKET
Each week the farmers in the marketplace display a colorful bounty of agricultural products grown right in our backyard. Seasonal diversity is available year-round, rain or shine. Music and entertainment liven the markets while creating a positive ambiance. Come shop and socialize. Various locations around town: Sunday market in Goleta (Camino Real Marketplace, Storke Rd. & Hollister Ave.,10 AM-2 PM, Storke Rd. & Hollister Ave.), Tuesday market in downtown Santa Barbara (Lower State St., 4-7:30 PM Summer, 3-6:30 PM Winter), Thursday market in Goleta (Camino Real Center, 7040 Marketplace Dr., 3-6 PM), Friday market in Montecito (Coast Village Road Shops, 8-11:15 AM), and Saturday market in Santa Barbara (Downtown Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara St. & Cota St., 8:30 AM-1 PM).
